Gerrit Jan Groothedde (1955) is culinair journalist. Eind jaren zeventig was hij souschef in het Brusselse restaurant L’Italiano in Belgio. Sinds 2001 is hij freelance journalist en schrijft hij voor onder andere ELLE Eten, Special Bite, Bouillon, Lifestyle Almere, Onkruid, Cocoon TV, Foodlog.nl, Sargasso.nl, Gezondheidsnet.nl en Puurgezond.nl.
